My last trip out to see Kathleen was a failure photographically. I got no pictures whatsoever of her, so I made sure to get a few this time. I visited the Charm City once again, from the 26th to the 29th of April, 2003. We had a great time and did very little. A bit of coffee, a bit of beer, a bit of Afghani food. Mmm.
I took all of these pictures on Sunday the 27th. After mass, Kathleen and I met up with Lisa G. and her friend from home, Beth. The four of us went around the Hopkins spring fair, and eventually made our way over to a nearby garden full of tulips in their prime. Just gorgeous.
Before we were on our way, I snapped a picture of a bashful Kathleen. "Look natural.." I say.
I've taken lots of pictures of people taking pictures. I've got work to do on my portraiture, but catching people off-guard, I think I've got down. :) Here Lisa is trying to get just the right shot of the batch of tulips we happened upon, hoping for that one orange among the white.
The gals I was with at the garden. Not a good view of any of them though.. L2R: Beth, Kathleen and Lisa, all with camera in hand. We were a bunch of shutter-bugs.
Kathleen has gained quite the notoriety as a photographer lately, so I had to get a shot of her practicing the craft. Here she is trying to capture a bit in her lens.
Kathleen took the opportunity to get some publicity photos of Lisa. We called these, "Lisa, Senior in HS." To make this clear, this is me taking a picture of Kathleen taking a picture of Lisa.
Lisa and Kathleen took a few of Beth for her fiancé. I hope he's pleased. :)
