A Christmas Sphinx. Mandalay Place is a walkway to next-door Mandalay Bay, which is the same company behind Luxor, Excalibur (Castle Castle) and Circus Circus. They call themselves 'The Mandalay Group.'

We had dinner and drinks at Red Square (Join the Party!), which certainly had a fun theme. Kathleen expounded upon the social commentary implicit in the layout of the bar. Good stuff.
This is the inside of Aureole, a restaurant in Mandalay Bay. Before you is their stacked wine cellar. The restaurant is down the stairs that spiral around the cellar. Really chic, I must say.
Excalibur was surrounded by thick foliage, so here's your shot of that, with a bonus Kathleen.
