About Chicago

After Kathleen moved to Illinois, we tried to get around and see a few things she hadn't seen. On Ben's suggestion, we headed into the city to see Millennium Park. We also met up with John, who was in town for a wedding that weekend, and Todd.

They've been working on the "bean" for a while. It's done now, but at the time, they were still polishing out the seams. They had one end of open for viewing that day, though.

There were dozens of people playing in the fountains. Ironically, they were ostensibly closed. No one seemed to care, including Kathleen.

The main fountains are hard to explain, so I'll just let you look at the picture yourself. That's a giant video screen spraying water over everyone.

We met John and Todd that night at the Hop Leaf. Delicious beer and food ensued.
