On April 9th, 2005, Kathleen and I went to the wedding of one of her college friends, in Reston, VA. Several other Hopkins folks were there, and I believe it was much enjoyed by all present. The next day, we met up with our friend Lisa and her boyfriend Pat. We toodled around Baltimore and ate a lot.
At the wedding, I saw Lisa for the first time in about a year and a half, which was unfortunately long. We caught up and took the chance to get a picture of Kathleen and her.
Lisa took this picture of Kathleen and me at the reception.
Lisa and Anthony. Anthony speaks and cooks fluent Italian. I got to practice my particular form of broken Italian with him, but mostly he just told about northern Italian linguistic variations and Milanese poetry, all in Italian. I had a fun time. :)
The next day, after mass, Kathleen, Lisa, Pat and I hopped on the Baltimore Water Taxi and went to Fort McHenry and Fell's Point. Illustrated below.
Don't Pat and Lisa photograph well? I still had to make sure it was a candid shot. Silly me.
There were some more pictures, but they didn't turn out that well, so I leave it there abruptly. Baltimore is a beautiful, fun city, (and Charming!) and we hope to make it back every now and again. You can't just not go to the Helmand anymore.. We'll be back.
