From April 17th to the 20th, 2004, I visited the folks out east again. Jackie and Scott had their first baby recently, named Kephas Anthony, on March 31st, and his baptism and post-party was the 17th. My flight got in just in time for the party, so I snapped a few pictures there. The next day, Kathleen and I headed out once again to Winterthur (which we've visited before..). It was all good fun.
Here, Kathleen and Lisa exude their happiness to see one another.
Jackie's sister Stephanie holds the baptisee. Grandma looks on.
Kathleen observes a tree at Winterthur. We walked around the gardens at Winterthur after taking a tour of a few of the rooms of the big house. Winterthur's focus, rather than historical preservation, is displaying the furniture and decorative collections of Henri DuPont III. His family lived in the house and owned these grounds until around the 1950's. As such, there really isn't much historical context for the items. Rather, they're just showing off the expanse of the collection. Anyway, it's a pretty place.
The trees were in full bloom that day. The pictures don't do it justice.
