From January 3rd to the 7th, I went to Las Vegas with Kathleen. Officially, she was doing research on the history of neon or fluorescent signs as advertsiements in Las Vegas, which is well known for its amazing fluorescent signs. Unofficially, we took lots of pictures and had some incredible food in equally incredible portions. Mmmm.. Anyway, I brought my digital camera, and took perhaps far too many pictures. Here are the ones that made the cut, and some commentary.
I had a layover in Denver thanks to Frontier Airlines. I've heard that there is a pretty impressive main terminal in Denver, with a roof like a canvas tent. Here is my best shot of it.
We stayed the first night with my cousin, Celeste. Sunday morning after mass, we had breakfast back at her house before heading out...
We headed out to.. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, about a 20 minute drive. It was pretty.
