Ah, Bawls.. Wonderful caffeinated stuff. Quite popular amongst geeks of every stripe that need that pick-me-up with a bit more fruity flavor than your average cup of joe. This page is my ode to Bawls, in photos taken at QuakeCon 2003.

These first few are of a project some BYOCers came up with to collect a bunch of bottles of Bawls and make a multi-tiered array in the form of a giant Quake logo. Final bottle count: 1000 bottles. Oy.

The smaller group of bottles above the Q are arranged to spell out "2K3," though you can't see it from these pictures.

The next few here you may find to be backgroundable™. A nice array of attractive cobalt blue soda bottles. Final bottle count at this point: 4000 bottles.

And us volunteers got to bring home gads of the stuff. John and I each grabbed two 12-packs before we left. That's a lot of Bawls!
