On our first day, we landed in Rome, took a train into town, and then hopped the EuroStar to Florence. We didn't take any photos until we got to our hotel in Florence. We were discombobulated enough from the flight and the tight train connections.
Our hotel greeted us with Proseco and strawberries in our room. After all, this trip was in celebration of our 5th anniversary.
